And sure enough, 3am this morning rolled around and I heard it loud and clear as the sleet hit the windows of my studio. Yep, that's right. I am up at 3am. More correctly, still up at 3am. All orders were finished as of last night, and I braved the 'ice and sleet' today to make it to the beautiful blue boxes at the post office so all items went out today - YEAH!!!
But, now what?!?! I can't take my machine in yet. With all the snow and crazy weather we have been having, the 'doctor's office'/ maintanence shop is backlogged with machines before mine, and with the ice on the roads, I can't drive that far to drop it off....
So again, I ask... whats a girl to do.... ummmmmmm....
Got it! Call one of her BESTIES and bake!!!!! and that is exactly what I did. One of my great girlfriends and her two gorgeous kiddos came by, braving the cold and icey elements, to spend the day with us and we had a BLAST! We baked, and baked yummies!! I can't wait for the hubs to get home to try these goodies.
We made cake-balls. It was a first for us both. But for first-timers, and with the MoNkEyS help, I do have to say, they turned out CUTE and very tastey!They are strawberry cake and icing, dipped in almond bark chocolate with sprinkles and glaze and all kinds of love and kisses and what ever else the MoNkEyS thought looked best ;)
I personally think they are the prettiest ones I have ever seen. HA! Partially because my MoNkEy said he made one just for me... AWWWW.... I'll take it! Pure sweetness!
Well. Baking completed, and we are all hyped up on sugar. Now, I can't sleep and still have my machine, so it is up to y'all... what is a girl to do?!?!?
