A Happy Easter!!!

I truely hope that everyone had a very Happy Easter weekend, fun filled with many blessings.

My weekend was fabulous and super busy, but LOVED every minute of it.  We had three 3 hunts, 2 birthdays and a wonderful family gathering!  And here it is in a 'Re-Cap" :o)

It started out with our church's FABULOUS Eggstravaganza.  It was wonderfully organized and packed with tons of FUN activities from bounce houses, crafts and of course our FIRST EGG HUNT:

Waiting
SCORE!

After that Egg Hunt, we came home, and I had decided that it would be best to 'spread' the Easter goodies out over the course of the weekend, so 'Mom and Dad, Easter Baskets' were next :o)  Here is the pre-baskets next to this years OH SO Precious Easter Picture

Easter 2011

A special hug from my littlest

After all that fun, the day was over, and only to start over again on Easter!  And what a wonderful day it was.  Not only was it Easter, but I was lucky enough to share this wonderful holiday with my birthday.  Which, I don't recall it ever being this way, but it was fantastic.

The boys with their baskets from the Bunny

Big Cheese!
We started our Easter early, with a wonderful service at Church, then off to a very special lunch, my boys treated me too for my big ole Birthday then hope for NAP time :o)  We all had to recharge our batteries before we attempted anymore festivities... but after naps we were good to go and headed to the 'country house' for another wonderful Egg hunt, dinner and my birthday celebrations.

Thank you, Poppy and Nonny. Aren't they handsome in their outfits and hats!  The outfits also had matching sunglass but they were a little hard to keep on, as was the hat on the yougest :P  But with enough candy and eggs, he quickly forgot about it for a little while for pictures.

Then the ALL FAMOUS family picture ATTEMPT!!  I don't think a family picture is possible with babies these ages, or at least that is my excuse :o)  But here is one of the ones that was taken -

And after all the fun, we ended such a wonderful night with a wonderful cake my Mommie made me :o)  It was even made better after my oldest MoNkEy decided he was going to lick some icing off while 'noone was looking' - HA!

Hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed weekend.  I know my was truely magically, Thanks to my family and friends.  Y'all really know how to make a girl feel special.

Until next time, Squeeze your MoNkEyS tight,

like it?

Oh I hope that you like it, maybe even LOVE it as much as I do!  Finally simplicity, and order - it sure is making my heart sing!!!

What am I talking about, you ask... oh the matchie matchie of this now, beautiful blog to my Etsy page, to my facebook page, to my newly ordered business cards and hang tags... and most important to my website :o)

YES, you heard correctly!  I have finally dove in and joined the other 'boutique' owners in having my own website!!

After many LONG nights and countless hours of trial and error - I think I have it, for the most part, figured out.  YEAH!!!  Now here comes the fun part - marketing and maintaining :o)

Oh and of course with any roll out - 'working out the bugs'

Feel free to crusie around all the sites, look at the new work, and especially on the website, read over 'home', 'about me' and 'faq's' ... tell me what you think.  Does the wording sound right? Is it what it should be?  Am I missing something?  Please let me know, give me input;  and of course a huge THANK YOU in advance!

But you might be asking/ wondering about my Etsy shop - and well... it is going no where!  I promise!!  Etsy is fabulous and I am a part of so many wonderful groups that I wouldn't dare close that shop down.  BUT there will be a difference.  I will only be posting 'certain' items on Etsy and the rest of my designs will be through my website.  The website is paypal just like Etsy, and everything else is the same - it will just be a broader base for me and easier shopping/ viewing for you.

So I hope that you do love it as much as I do, and thank you for bearing with me these last few weeks on responses and orders and posting; while I was working on this 'creation'.

Until next time, squeeze your MoNkEyS tight!

Sun & Fun

Oh Spring is here, and what FUN it is!!!

My MoNkEyS and I have already done so many wonderful things, and it is only getting better. Picnics, bluebonnets, pictures, and just plain fun ADVENTURES.

With Spring, one of the most FUN things is a wardrobe change. Instead of boots, and jeans and jackets...we trade that all in for flip flops/sandals, shorts and tanks.  And nothing completes this wonderful weather than Spring colors.

And of course all this weather means that Easter is fastly approaching!  YEAH!!  Bring on the egg hunts and chocolate candy!!!

I have had so much fun introducing so many new products over the last few weeks, and am so pleased that y'all are pleased with too!!   I never knew that a ruffle dress and romper would BOOM like they have - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

With nothing but boy MoNkEyS in this home, we don't get the honor of wearing the ruffle dress, but are sure having fun with the romper, and spring time tees.

In fact, I just went and had my MoNkEyS spring time pictures taken and I put my littlest in the white romper with a seersucker circular monogram.  I LOVED the way it turned out, not so much on the picture but definitely the outfit!!!

And yes, I did this outfit in the weeeeeee hours before leaving that morning, because I could sleep and felt that he needed another 'outfit' change for the shoot - HA!

But if you are looking for a romper for your MoNkEy many color options and combos are available.  Any of my designs, applique or monogram can be put on the rompers, and ruffle dress for that fact.  If you are looking for something special, just ask!  I am sure we can figure it out!!

Other Color Options:  Key Lime, Navy, Light Pink, Ash Grey, and White

key lime

navy

light blue

light pink

These rompers are Rabbit Skins, and the sizes offered are standard, 6m, 12m, and 18m.  Size chart is on the Etsy listing ;)   If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I look forward to creating all the new and fun things y'all can think of!!

Thank you for your continued support!

Until tomorrow, Squeeze your MoNkEyS tight!

KiKi....kickin' it

As I sit here and type this, my 3 1/2 yr old MoNkEy is on the floor next to me 'awake'....

Yes, I know, I am winning Mother of the Year for this bedtime, but it is a little ROUGH in our house right now.  As most of you know I am the 'wife of a wing man', a traveling fool, 'a road warrior' aka my hubs travels a lot for business, which leaves me at home with the babies.

Most of the time, I don't mind, but these past couple of weeks have been ROUGH!  I need a 'tag team'!

I decided mid week last week, that due to a close call aka 'hazardous habit', my oldest needed to kick the KiKi habit.  (Kiki - pacifier, binky, nuk...)  And well the first few days were AWESOME, he was so proud of his new BIG boy routine, and everything was going smoothly then - WHAMMMMM!!!

One night he asked for HIS KiKi... and he was VERY specific - 'The BLUE KiKi with Stars', and he was promptly told no, that he was a big boy and big boys don't have KiKi's...  And the water works started, emotions started to FLOW freely and all H**L broke loss.

Since the 'request day', EVERY little thing, wrong look, slight glare or not going his way day turns into full blown DRAMA!  So much that at times, I have considered giving it to him.  But this Mom has stayed strong! HA!!

But let me just say, WOW!  I never knew it would be this emotional.  I feel so bad for my lil Monkey, and I am trying my best with the 'situations' at hand, but they are starting to wear.  I have to constantly remind myself, that he is going through withdrawals, such as I do when I go on a diet, or give up chocolate... or as anyone addict trying to give up their vice.

The worst thing about the whole process, is that he sees his younger brother with his Kiki.  = (  A couple of times, I have even caught the oldest, in the crib with my youngest, being a KiKi theif for a 'quick satisfaction' remedy...  And when I say sneeky, he has gone stealth mode in the middle of nap time, through bathrooms (the back way) just to get in the crib for the Kiki without me 'catching him'.

So I must ask... HOW MUCH LONGER?  Poor thing is suffering and I can't give in, but I HATE to see him this emotional.

My poor baby, I am ready for him to be back to his normal self... these emotions are causing a change in his eating, and sleeping, especially since he used a Kiki mainly at night and naps to sleep.

Well, I must try and get this MoNkEy back to sleep, even if it is in my bed ;)

Until next time, Squeeze your MoNkEyS tight!

'tie'ing to be like Daddy

A dear friend of mines', best friend, is having her first baby, and it's a BOY!  YEAH!

The beautiful shower was this past weekend, and I was asked to help with a 'special request' item.

How CUTE are these:

The onesies and FABULOUS fabric were supplied, along with the creative ideas... and that, my friends, is how they turned out.  I personally think they turned out fabulous; and of course, my 'fabulous' photog skills aren't really doing the oneises justice but hopefully you can imagine the real life cuteness!!!

Here are a couple other pics:

Seersucker with Monogram

Guitar with name
And well... I still have not decided which one is my favorite.  I think they are both adorable, and I can't wait to see Baby Davis in them!
